My passion for the outdoors goes back to growing up enjoying hiking, canoeing, and adventures as a boy. I have always been aware of conservation issues and the need to be good stewards of the earth that God gave us.  I added photography in 1980 when I was stationed at Ft Greely, Alaska,  I couldn't miss the chance to document the beauty that was all around me.  The passion for both conservation and photography has fueled my adventures ever since.

I have also been a user of Pentax cameras from the beginning of my photography endeavor.  I've found Pentax to be rugged and dependable as well as great photography equipment.
